    Default Activity Scheduler

I am not understanding how the activity scheduler interacts with the student at all. I planned out the schedule for my son, when he logs in he can click on the icon on the top right that shows his scheduled activities, however there is no LA# or any way for him to identify his plan. So he goes to the lessons and starts where he left off but has no idea how far to keep going, etc. When I went to print the lesson plan by the week when you click Print All is prints a screen shot of the week I have on the screen and when I click PDF it prints the entire years plan. Neither of these printables include LA #'s. I'm a bit frustrated, can you please tell me how this should work so my son can sit at his computer and know what he need to accomplish. Thanks!

I am having the same issue with High School. I wanted to print a pdf of activities week-by-week, but the pdf option saves a pdf of the entire year AND in subject order rather than date order. I am hoping this is just a glitch that will be fixed soon so we can easily stay on track!

Now I'm even more confused! My son has been working but there is no guide for him or me to make sure he is on track with what the activity scheduler scheduled for him. He checks off the boxes himself and thought he was further than he actually was. Doesn't the program check off the activity boxes for him when they are completed. I'm not sure how to follow this, can someone please help and answer.

The activity scheduler follows the exact layout of the program. You do not need to print it out any long. After you generate and save the schedule, there is a link on the students login where they can view the schedule. Then they can just follow the curriculum as it it laid out using the arrow as a guide, with lessons marking off as complete as they go. The scheduler does allow them to click the done to help them keep their place from day to day. The schedule is merely that, a schedule, it does not assign lessons. There is no actual assignment feature within the program for home use. The program is self paced. If you prefer to print it out and have the activity numbers, you can still do that by choosing "View Old Version" and printing it out for your student. If you want to print out 1 week at a time, after you have saved the schedule choose "Week of:?" at the top left to select the week you want to print then click the print button at the bottom. Hope this helps.

The schedule lets your student click off the lessons they have completed. This is a simple guide for where they left off only. It does not automatically do it. When your student is in the lessons, as they complete them, they do mark off as complete there and the arrow will move to the next lesson. If the arrow is not moving, the lesson is not completed. Sometimes lessons do not mark complete if the student did not exiting the lesson properly. They need to be sure to use the exit button within the lesson not click the "X" at the top right of the window.

This option still does not work correctly for me. I am not able to print just 1 week to printer nor to the pdf option. It wants to print out the entire year not matter which option I go with. It would be nice to do just 1 week at a time.

I am wondering the same thing. I emailed T4L, and their response was that in the activity planner, there will be learning activity numbers that will be included on the generated schedule. I do not see a LA # anywhere. ????

I am having a different problem, it only has one student (my high schooler) on the activity schedule generator, so I am unable to generate one for my daughter. I tired clearing the cache, using different browsers and still only my son shows up there. Any ideas?

I am brand new to T4L so I don't know if this is the answer you are needing, but.... I made a schedule and saved it. Then when my high-school student logs in, on the screen with the large "click here" button, on the extreme right is where he can access the schedule. He has to manually check off each task, which seems to be a limitation of the program. It would be nice if it auto-updated. Hope this helps, Tina

Suzanne said in one of the posts on this thread that you can click view old version to see the LA#. Maybe that is what you need to do?

I have a ques. regarding the Activity Scheduler, too. Where is the second link to access it? I think there are two places to click but I only know of one place on my parent log-in. It is loading a white box that says "object" right now. I hope this is just a temporary glitch. At least I have my hardcopies so it's not a big deal now.
