Default Can some one help me with this peedy stuff?

I tried downloading the stuff, and It doesn't work. How do you know it works?
I'm ready to rip my hair out. Is there a GOOD tutorial somewhere that will show me what to do?

Sarah, Peedy is an old program, which was designed to be used with Windows 98. Time4Learning is now recommending Natural Readers, a free text-to-speech program.

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!

    Hi Sarah,

Kelly's correct. Peedy is an old tired bird.

Even still, some kids like him. We would be happy to walk you through the steps if you really want to try.

Have you downloaded all four components?

Also, what operating system and browser are you using?

Let me know and we'll do what we can to get Peedy working for you.

    Hi,

I have a question about the Natural Reader.

I downloaded Peedy for one of our computers, but today my techy, wonderful Son was able to fix our other PC for the boys.
Peedy sounds so funny I thought I would try the Natural Reader for that computer.

My question is: What does Natural Reader sound like in comparison to Peedy?
Does it sound more natural or still like a computer voice?

    Thank you for any help.

    Brandi

    Hi Brandi,

Natural Readers, the free version, does have a robotic voice, much like Peedy.

There is a paid version with other, more human sounding voices but the free version is robotic.
