Default Feeling frustrated with lessons loading slowly or not at all

I'm finding that pages are loading very slowly and today some didn't load at all. I just got something saying that page isn't available. My family is on a schedule and I find it very frustrating that when we sit down to do our lessons the lessons are not available. I'm hoping something can be done to speed up this website so our lessons can be done in a timely manner.

    Hi Suppermom,

So sorry for your frustration! We have been experiencing some slowness and loading problems these past few weeks. Our developers have been working hard to fix these issues. They have another patch tonight and hopefully this will end the issues.

On your end you can try to add some trusted sites to your privacy control and trusted site list within your browser controls.

If using Internet Explorer, from your browser window select “Tools”.

    Select “Internet Options”.
From your tab settings select “Security”.
Click on “Trusted Sites” and then click the sites button
    Please add these two sites:
    http://www.compasslearningodyssey.com
    http://www.thelearningodyssey.com

We also suggest adding them to your allowed sites list.

    Click on Tools
    Select “Internet Options”
    Click on the Privacy tab
    Click on Sites and add
    http://www.compasslearningodyssey.com
    http://www.thelearningodyssey.com

If using Firefox, from your browser window select “Tools”.

    1. Select “Privacy”.
    2. Under cookies select “Exceptions”.
    3. Please add these two sites and allow them

    http://www.compasslearningodyssey.com
    http://www.thelearningodyssey.com

You can also choose Content and under Block pop-up windows select "Exceptions" and add the same two sites. While still in Content under Load images automatically select "Exceptions" and add the same two sites there.

Clearing your cache and re-booting your computer is also a good idea for general maintenance and performance up keep.

Thank you for your patience and we appreciate it.

I'm not sure if following those suggestions helped or not but we are now getting a security warning pop up everytime we click to take a quiz or on certain lessons.

The security warning is a warning from the developers having to do with their updates. It should only be momentarily. Please feel free to call our office so that we can adjust your next bill date for all of your issues.
