    Default Idle timeout

I was just wondering after what length of time that the student is idle within Time4Learning will it automatically log the student out? It seems to "kick me out" occasionally and I was wondering if it's because of a period of idling, which is when we are reading a book or working on our handwriting.

If I know what this number is, then I can better head off tearful situations.

    thanks,
    Nancy

    Food for thought:

    What do you teach there?

If you are ideling and are kicked out it will give you the error message "Session timed out". Sometimes a wireless connection can be the cause. If you are wireless try plugging directly in for your long reading exercises.

Yes, the system will boot you out after 90 minutes, idle or not. Do you have security on your computer? You can try to strengthen your connection to the (compass site) by adding some trusted sites.
