    Default Linux and Time4learning.

Recently I have not been able to log into Time4learning using Ubuntu Linux. In the past 3-4 years it's not been that big of an issues. But it seems now it has. So to see if I was missing something I sent time4learning a message

    Message:
I'm not able to log in under my son's account , using Ubuntu Linux , and Firefox. I am able to log in fine using windows.

When trying to log in I am met with this screen.

Oops! Weve encountered a configuration problem.

We wish that all web-based programs worked on all computers instantly but today, some computers have settings that require some configuration.

Our program requires that we know where our users are logging in from.Certain applications such as Norton have settings which prevent this information from going through.

The good news is that we can help guide through adjusting your settings.

I have been able to use Ubuntu for the time I have been a member , with only having to add Agent switcher add on. I have updated it , and I am still not able to log in, with any of the major OS , and browser settings.

Your website says in the FAQ
Can Time4Learning run on any computer?

    For the most part, yes.

A computer (PC or Mac) with "fast access" (DSL or cable modem) to the Internet is ideal. A small adjustment is sometimes necessary if your computer uses Linux as the operating system.

If there is some other necessary adjustment needed. Will you please let me know.

To which I got this reply.
    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately, Linux is not a recommended operating system for Time4Learning. We have had many subscribers who have been able to use it following the instructions you mentioned with the user agent plugin, however we cannot guarantee it.

Here is a link to the where ther have been some dicussions and helpful advice.

I hope you find this useful.

    Thank You,
