My daughters activites are not coming up
Hello all, I'm new to the site this year. I signed my daughter up for the detailed plan and has it set to start today. When I go on her site the odyssey comes up under math, language, arts and more. I click on the activity plan and it just lists the activities. There isn't a link and I may be wrong but I thought each activity as I set it up to.. will be available to her in a link on the day she is supposed to complete it. I click on portfolio and it says she doesn't even have any assignments at all. I am very lost. She is using a chromebook so I thought maybe that was the problem but I cant get it to come up on my pc..which is ie. Id truly appreciate any help.
thanks

Re: My daughters activites are not coming up
Hi there!
When your daughter logs in, there should be a link to her activity plan. I am attaching a picture of what it should look like. She would click on the link to pop open a window with a list of what to do.
Creating the activity plan won't change the way the lessons are listed on the website. It will just instruct her where she will go next.

Hi, joselyn.michael!
Here are step-by-step instructions for using the activity planner.
The portfolio is where your student will view their reports (scores) after they have done some scored lesson activities.
The Assignments tab was designed for classroom use and is only used in schools.
The activity planner simply generates a list that will appear under a tab marked "Activity Plan" when your student signs in to their account IF you have set that plan as the default and IF the date the plan begins has already arrived.
Your student works from the list, checking off each item as it is completed. OR, the computer will check off completed items each day at 1:00 AM.
Your child will always be able to see all of the available material in a subject. Compare this to giving your student a textbook and a list that says things like: (1) Read chapter 4 (2) Answer the questions on page 115.
To navigate to an activity, have your student copy and paste the lesson activity number from the list into the Activity Finder, which is the little magnifying glass icon at the lower right of his dashboard.

Re: My daughters activites are not coming up
This is interesting. For my highschool students, their activities in the list are all links to the actual materials. However, my elementary children only get a list without the linking. So, I understand why people are asking this question. I wish it was the same for both. It is much easier for the children who just click on the links.
