    Default Peedy the Parrot Possessed?

    Help.

We have just relocated to NC. We are staying with my parents. My son is using my parents laptop. We downloaded peedy, but his voice is NOT the same. It is awful and my son is really upset about it. He doesn't want to do school until peedy speaks properly in his parrot voice. Does anyone know what is going on?

    Thank you!

    Hi SnowButterfly,

I'm sorry to hear your son is so upset by Peedy! You mentioned Peedy speaking in his regular parrot voice; have you heard him speak in another voice other than the robotic voice?

As far as I know that's the only way he will talk, unless you might've had some additional software installed to give him a better voice on your previous computer.

    Snow Butterfly,

The way I understand it, the different versions of SAPI are different voices. You may have had an additional version of SAPI on your other computer before that your computer now doesn't have.

We'd love it if Peedy spoke like a parrot and not a robot!!

Not sure if this info will help you get the parrot voice back, but let us know.

    Thanks,

    Kris
