Default Questions on some technical issues

    1. When the child finishes a quiz and has some question answered wrong, upon going back to that question he can't see the correct answer for it. Please help.
    2. From the parent login how do we access the child's reports? Right now we login as the child and access the reports.
    3. Where do we get information as to how much of the overall material in an area (6th grade math, or one topic under it) is completed/not completed/etc.
    4. Are there ways of ascertaining the pace of the kid as being slow/fast/etc?

    Thank you,
    Bala

The student will not see the correct answers to the questions marked incorrect. This gives the student the chance to go back into the lessons to research and find out what is the correct answer. Going through the lessons again helps to reinforce the material and have the student understand why the question was incorrect. In addition, there are answer keys for tests and quizzes available through thOe lesson plans on the parent administration page.

To see the student records from the parent admin page, you will need to click on the "Student Info" tab. From there, under details, click on the more button. A link for the student records will pop up. Click on this link and the records will open in a new tab.

The reports will not show the percent completed. If you want to see how much is done, you can compare the student records to the lesson plans, checking off what has been completed and counting up how much is left to do.

It is difficult to say what pace the student is working at, as each student is different. Each student works at their own pace with Time4Learning, going through an entire years worth of curriculum.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. A very important question was missed yesterday. We're experiencing intermittent network outages which makes certain types of learning material difficult to administer to the child (like the streaming portions). What would you suggest in this case? Do you have an "offline mode" or something like that? At least download specific learning nuggets if not the whole thing.....?

Btw, how do I ensure that your response and other Q/A in forums of my interest get delivered to my mailbox automatically?

    Thank you,
    Bala

    Hi Bala,

The lessons are only available online. There is no way to access them offline, unfortunately. Nor can they be downloaded.

As far as responses going to your email, you should be emailing these questions directly to the support staff at [email protected]. You will get your quickest response from them. And questions that are particular to your account can be handled privately. This forum is really for communicating with other homeschool parents or posting about general technical issues.

    Suzanne
