    Default Legal School Leaving-Drop out age?

    Hi i went on Wikipedia and saw that the legal age to drop out in texas was 19 is this correct? When I google it some more i find places that say 18 and other places that say 19 which one is correct?

    I would suggest contacting your local school board. I am sure they can let you know.

    Thanks Robin as far as i can tell it seems like you have to attend until 18 would you agree? Just want to make sure.

    You can drop out at 17 if you don't live at home. Otherwise 18 or graduate early.
