    Cool New to Homeschooling

I'm new to homeschooling. I am trying to find an alternative to public school for my 6th grader. We decided to try homeschooling this year as a transition year from her private school years and she had a tough year last year, because she has anxiety troubles. We're hoping she will do qell with homeschooling and that we'll be able to keep her engaged with outside the box curriculum as she also has ADD along with her anxiety. Does anyone have any suggestions to help us get ready for this new journey? I am also currious how you do your lesson plans. I am a full time nurse, but I have 3 days off during the week I intend on working with her schooling on those days. Please share your experiences, thank you.
