Hello, my daughter is currently a junior in high school and was diagnosed with dyslexia when she was in second grade. Every year I have been attending 504 meetings to make sure that she gets the accommodations she needs to succeed in school. But, with all of the budget cuts, she spent her sophomore year and this year struggling. She ended up not passing a couple of subjects and getting a couple of bad teachers. She hates school. I want to home school next year. I know that she would do much better in a home environment. I just don't know where to start. I would love some advice:
Questions:
1. What is the best way to let the school and district know that she will be home schooled next year?
2. Any curriculum suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thank You.
