Anyone home schooling a child on the spectrum?
Hi! I have a 9 year old and a 7 year old that I would love to home school.
My 9 year old suffers from anxiety from being bullied. She is a A B student and is eager to learn.
My 7 year old is a very high functioning autistic child, he is also dyslex. I have always considered home schooling, but I am worried that I can not give my son what he needs. He is very outgoing and social, so I am not worried about him not getting enough socialization. He has more of a processing disorder.
Is it possible to home school him and give him the education he deserves?
Thanks In Advance

Hi, Erica. My eleven-year-old son does has autism (along with Down syndrome and sensory processing disorder). We have used Time4Learning for almost ten years.
Here is some information from other Time4Learning members that you might be interested in. You might also want to post in the special needs section of this forum.
