Default Begining Homeschooling my 6th grader and 8th grader- 30 days!

Need advice- total newbie! I will be teaching my 8th grader and my 6th grader- who has a processing disorder that severley effects him in math. Planning to use Time for Learning for my 8th grader as he is very focused, Ryan is not- have had many people tell me to use Math-you-see for him- and I need a good English program- for the other studies I will be using the unschooling technique. I need suggestions on where to start, any program that focuses on processing disorders that I can supplement while teaching math when he gets stuck, any planners that are great to keep me focused and lessons planned? Help!!

For math: Math-U-See, Developmental Mathemetics, the Key to Series

For LA: Walch's Power Basics Basic English, Bridges to Literature, Sequential Spelling

    Just some ideas-

Our sister site,Vocabulary Spelling City, uses Brian McCabe's AVKO Individualized Spelling lists as a Sequential Spelling Program.

Aww, bummer- they are not the lists that build. See how it looks in the Sequential Spelling books.
