Do students still require books and if so, do you recommend or have books for students?

The literature sections of the language arts program include books for students to read within the program (on the computer).

There are lists of suggested books included in the science and social studies programs. These are not required books. They are suggestions for times when further study is desired.

There are no books required when using Time4Learning. Of course, it's always a good thing to encourage children to read for pleasure.

Mom of six . . . current students and homeschool graduates. Enjoying using Time4Learning since 2006!

Good question. You can use Time4Learning as a complete curriculum. We love it. I think especially with younger kids you don't need a lot of supplements. I would just get a lot of great literature to read from the library. Also, if we find a topic while we're doing our Time4Learning that interests us, we might head to the library and do further research or do some research online, but we would do that with any curriculum.

When you factor in the money you are saving on textbooks alone, Time4Learning is a very inexpensive option for families.
