We use T4L as a core curriculum and supplement with other things.
We are new to T4L but I think we have found a good match for my 6 year old.

We are using T4L as our core curriculum for 6th grade. My son can move along pretty independently and is enjoying himself. The sense of humor, activity and color captures his interest and I can see from the records exactly how well he is doing.

Polls are fun but I might spoil this one since I know parts of the answer. When families sign up for Time4Learning, there is a check box which gives us statistics on our users.

By sign-ups, it varies by time of the year.

In June for instance, we had almost 60% non-homeschooled students sign-up who are planning to use us as a type of summer school. There are lots of students (and parents) who were told by their teacher at year's end: "I'm going to pass you in math this year but frankly, you are not prepared for next year. You need a complete redo of last year's math program this summer if you have hopes of passing next year".

In August, 65% of the new sign-ups were homeschoolers.

    Here's another fun-fact....

The average homeschooling family use of Time4Learning is very long. In fact, since we have been out there for less then three years and so many people signed up in the past year, we can't really do an average length of homeschoolers yets.

In contrast, the typical Time4Learning non-homeschooler does not use the system for that long (average of about 4 months). But many of them are repeat users. For instance, we seem to have alot of people who have used us just for the fall or just for the summer.

The other exceptions to the homeschool majority are for preschool and the kids signing up for prealgebra algebraclass.

I use T4L as my core homeschool curriculum as well, and couldn't be happier.

Well, I could be happier if I had a high speed internet connection, but that's not T4L's fault!

We supplement with worksheets, reading, writing exercises, and games, art projects, crafts...

We also use time T4L as a core curriculum. We do supplement with Writing Strands for my 5th grader, and also use a handwriting program for both the 5th grader and 2nd grader. We supplement with library books as well.

We use the time4learning as a core curriculum along with other supplements. We actually have 2 core curriculums that we do each day that make up for our main studies. I have both of them posted at the end of my signature to all my emails so other families become aware of the programs

What a great idea to post the curriculum in your email signature!

I signed up for T4L as a summer enrichment/remediation program...but will continue to use it as enrichment to public school education during the school year.
