    Default Introduction

    Hello,
I am new on the Forum. My name is Melinda (in TN), I am a homeschooling mother of 2 girls, Katie is 10 (will be 11 on Jan 30th), Brittany is 9 (will be 10 in March). They are both brand new to homeschooling this year, they were in public school since K.
Katie is in 5th grade and Brittany is in 4th grade.
So far we really like Time4learning. I like the fact that I can back up and use the lower levels if needed to make sure that the children understand what they are working one. My approace is for the child to completely understand the material, not partially understand it and move them on to the next level.
I hope to learn a lot from the parents on the forum.

    Welcome!!
My boys are 6th and 5th grade and were in PS from K- 5 as well. We started the homeschool deal in Oct. for the 6th grader and this week for the 5th grader.
We love T4L and the parents on this forum are AWESOME! Lots of great help!!!

Welcome to T4L. It sounds like your girls are off to a great start! We have two girls (and a boy as well) but they're younger, 6 and 8 in first and third grades. Hope to see you around the boards.

Welcome, I started homeschooling because of my sons adhd and our public school not being able to handle it. We pulled him out and started hsing him in 2nd grade, he is now in 8th. I also had 4 steps sons and 3 of them wanted to be homeschooled at the time too. So when I started I had a 2nd grader, 5th, 10th grader and 11th grader

I wish I would have had T4L with my 2 youngest at the time it would have been so much help.

My youngest is in 3rd grade and will probably starte T4L next year if she is interested. Welcome aboard Dayna
