Red face Just getting started ...

Hi everyone! Just started our two week trial of Time 4 Learning. My son is in 1st grade. Can anyone give me any tips or helpful info about using this system (especially related to 1st grade). Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. Thank you and I look forward to getting to know you all!

I would also like to encourage you to check out the LA state forum. You will find things related specifically to your state, maybe find folks in your area, chat, share ideas, and make new friends.

The tip that I always share is just to take things easy at first. It is a lot easier on everyone to start slower and build up momentum. When we started, I way overwhelmed the kids and myself and we were all miserable. Take your time and you'll be fine

    Ssb,
Hi, I'm Linda, and I'm the moderator for the Louisiana forum. I would like to personally invite you to join us over there and join us. The best piece of advice I can give is relax, and ask this question: Will _______ matter in ten years? If it matters, handle it, if it won't matter in 10 years, let it go, there are too many important things that can get lost in the volume of our lives. This advice is courtesy of the attending midwife when I was in labor with my now 11 year old and I have used it as a benchmark for judging which battles to fight, and which items can slide.
