Default Questions About Starting to HomeSchool Then Moving Out of State...

Hi! We may want to withdraw dd from public school and homeschool but we also want to move out of state probably this summer or fall. When we move we will want to put dd in a private parochial school, but that may not be before school starts in the fall. The state I am in now requires a letter of intent to be submitted and then testing/portfolio at end of year. So I could do that for 2009/10. But if we are still here in the fall but soon to move out of state, would I have to refile here for 2010/11 and submit testing again midyear if we are moving or just move and file in the new state? Anyone with this kind of experience? TIA

i am so confused.... lol. (but, in my defense, i haven't had coffee yet)

sounds to me like you might want to call the county you currently reside in and explain it to them, and see what they say. if you know where you're going to be in the next state, you might want to call them too ... just to be on the safe side.

good luck, and let us know if you need anything else.
