I have found that one of the best places to meet others is the public library. Go during the day when school is in session. Spend some time talking to the children's librarian. They are usually very knowledgeable about who is homeschooling in the area. Going to museums and places like that during school hours is also a good way to meet new people.

Here is a list of some of the homeschool groups throughout the state. I hope one of them is in your area.
