    I was told about this amazing site that has local activities for the summer listed on their website! I am going to list a couple of the activities that I wanted to share with you all. Please if you see any other summer fun activities that you know about list them below

    June 24th through June 29th
    Friday, June 24 - Cool Kid's Safari Days!! Presented by First Choice America Credit Union

    Refreshments, Prizes, Bouncer Spacewalk, Clown, Magician, Fire & Police Officers and Special Guest FROGGY Live Action Broadcast noon - 2.
    Where: Sonneborn Shelter, Wheeling Park, Wheeling, WV.
    When: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
    Who: Everyone. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
    How: Just show up.
    Cost: Free event.

    Sunday, June 26 - Pittsburgh Pirates Kids Day

    Every Sunday Pirates home game is a Kids Day at PNC Park. Start out with the Family Fun Zone on Federal Street, get a kid-friendly Pirates item at the gates and stick around after the game when all kids are invited to run the bases, courtesy of HK Anderson Pretzels, right down on the field.     Offering a popcorn and a drink for only $1 each and any candy may be purchased for only $2.50 each! OR, get $5 off any of our large combos!

    Wednesday, June 29 - Teddy Bear Story Time/Sleepover

    Bring your favorite teddy bear for story time and then leave him for a sleepover at the library. Pick him up the next day.
    Where: Schiappa Branch Library

    How: Teddy bears can be dropped off all day and must be picked up by Friday, July 1 @ 9pm.
    Cost: Free event.

    Summer version of Tot Time/Story Time.
    Where: Schiappa Branch Library

    Who: Chlidren ages 2-6.

    Wednesday, June 29 - Kid Fit

    "Interactive games, sports specific drills, strength training, yoga, and lots of fun!!!"

    Who: Ages 5-13 (some 4 year olds have been successful depending on their maturity level).

    Farmers' Market at Eastern Gateway Community College- The first early evening farmers' market will take place on June 29, 2011, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Eastern Gateway Community College. The Farmers' Market will be on Wednesdays throughout the summer and fall at the same time and place.

    Tuesday, July 5 - Youth Tennis Lessons

    The City of Steubenville and Recreation Department will be hosting Youth Tennis Lessons July 5th- July 21st on Tuesdays and Thursday from 6-7P! The Franciscan University Tennis Coach will be teaching high energy youth tennis lessons based on the USTA Quick Start Tennis Format.
    Where: Belleview Tennis Courts
    When: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Tuesday and Thursdays)
    Who: Boys and Girls entering grades 1st- 8th.
    How: Registration May 3rd- Friday July 2nd! Registration Forms are available at the MLK Recreation Center located at 905 Market Street.
    Cost: $15.00 per person (includes Tennis Racquet, Tennis Balls, T-shirt & more!!)
    For more info: There will be a Parent Meeting and Information Night at the MLK Recreation Center on Thursday May 18th, 2011 starting at 6:30 PM. USTA representatives and the Franciscan University Tennis Coach will be on hand to demonstrate the Program and anwer any questions!
