    Roll Call!
I’m not going to make this a poll or anything like that, but I would like for you to drop by here and just enter a short post telling us you are a member of the group. We would love it if you would say how you home school and why. We are just trying to encourage our group and get to know the others who share home schooling and Time4Learning.

    Thank you so much!!

I’ll start! I’m Linda, and have one 10 year old daughter. We started home schooling half way through 1st grade because she was bored, in trouble, and the school had given up on her. They decided the only way to deal with her was suspension or paddling. I decided, despite the fact that I was terrified of the idea of homeschooling, that I could do better. We use Time4Learning as our core curriculum, supplement freely, and home school all year long. We take longer than normal Christmas breaks, Easter breaks, and late summer breaks. We are currently about half way through 5th grade. My biggest concern at this point is what will we use for our curriculum when we finish Time4Learning.
I invite you to drop us a line here and tell us a little about yourselves.

Hello! I just took my kids out of public school and started homeschooling them this week. Just signed up for T4L and I hope they like it. My daughter is 12 and my son is almost 10, 7th and 4th grades. I'll add more about myself later

    Michylin,
Welcome to T4L and the Louisiana state group. We are glad to have you here. Thanks for dropping by, and please come back and tell us what spurred your decision to pull your children from public school. We hope that we can support you in this journey and lend support so that this doesn't have to be a scary decision for you. Again, welcome and come back often!!
