Hi. I stumbled on this thread after returning from a trip from Roatan to visit my father and his wife and their adopted children. The kids are in the second grade and are not doing well at all. They attend a private school which is utilizing public school materials. My father's wife told me that it is illegal to homeschool in Honduras. I have tried to find out the information, but I seem to be hitting so many walls. Any information you have on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. I was born in La Ceiba and my parents were born on Roatan. I am learning much about a place that I hadn't seen much of since I was 16 months old!
